About Us

Our Story

Brunetix started with two people and a lifelong love of greenery. Johan and Leendert Slappendel founded the business on 1 January 2016 in Hazerswoude-Dorp, a village in the heart of one of the Netherlands' best known growing regions. Plants, flowers and florist supplies are part of everyday life here.

We started as a wholesale business in florist supplies, flowers and plants, and we also grew and sold plants ourselves. Working with florists, growers and retailers taught us what makes a plant look right in a room, and what people actually want when they bring nature into their homes. Over the years we kept hearing the same thing from customers: they love the look of fresh greenery, but they don't always have the time, the light or the space to keep living plants happy.

That is why we created Brunetix. Our online store offers artificial plants, decorative greenery, planters and home decor pieces that bring a natural touch to any space, indoors or out. Every product is chosen with the same eye we have used for years in the plant trade. We look for realistic leaves, natural colours and planters that suit real homes, balconies, offices and terraces.

We are still a small team of two, and we like it that way. It means every order gets our personal attention, and when you contact us you speak with the people who run the business. We would rather send you something we are proud of than chase trends that don't last.

Whether you want to brighten a dark corner, dress up your entrance or create a green feel in a room where nothing seems to grow, we're here to help you find the right piece.

Thank you for visiting Brunetix. We hope our greenery makes your space feel a little more alive.
